The available Front Assist & Pedestrian Detection System provides a warning when it senses danger, and it will even provide emergency braking if the driver does not react in time.
Park Distance Control is an available system that makes parking easier when backing into or out of a spot. The sensors automatically detect the space around the vehicle and help guide it with safety in mind. Maneuver Braking activates in certain situations to prevent accidents.
Other safety technologies slated to be either standard or available include Forward Collision Warning with Autonomous Braking (Front Assist), Active Blind Spot Monitor, Lane Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, High Beam Control, and an Adaptive Front-Lighting System.
The 2022 Volkswagen Taos has an interior that stands out
Each Taos features a nicely-blended two-tone interior with contrast stitching that adds a touch of sophistication. The heated front seats make winter more bearable, and you can upgrade to ventilated leather seats that add yet another layer of comfort.
The Taos doesn't forget about versatility. It makes loading up easier with up to 1,877 litres of cargo capacity and over 2,800 litres of passenger volume. Fold up the rear seats when you need full passenger volume or fold one or both down when you need more cargo room.
The 2022 Volkswagen Taos is powerful
This Volkswagen features a new, 1.5-litre turbocharged engine that produces 158 horsepower and a responsive 184 lb-ft of torque. The engine features a specific injection technology that increases efficiency while outputting superior response and power.
The Taos will be offered in front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive models, extending choices that fit best with your driving needs.
